Sex, Lies & Quilting In Their Own Words
December September

"Well, it certainly lived up to its advanced billing.  Sex, Lies & Quilting was a giggle from beginning to end."
JoAnne Bennett, Ottawa

"Our trip was well worthwhile if we had only attended the play. Boy, what a treat! I thought the small theater was the perfect place: audience and players were one.  A perfect day thanks to your wonderful play. I kept the Play Bill to show to my friends."
Irma Dickinson

"A new high for Ms. Reesha!  I adored your performance.  Every note was perfect!  You never fail to be completely present on stage, clever and swift with your reactions to everyone. The play itself was lots of fun.  I can only imagine the fun the authors had writing it. Truly inspired."
Stan Gray, San Miguel de Allende

“This play takes us to the origins of theatre, bringing alive the personal experience of people affected by political violence. One of the roles that theatre has played in all societies is keeping the memory about remarkable situations and deeds. The way the actors were placed on stage reminded me the Chorus in Greek theatre. That is the collective conscious about what is going on, the alter ego of society. The way the script was organized had a heart beating progression, making the audience, and me especially, get involved in the confusion, fear, impotence and anger that these people experienced.

Thanks so much to all the actors who passed through hard emotions and gave us such strong images. This play reminds us about the dark side of human beings and also reminds us how much we want peace.”
Ana Maria Muñoz, San Miguel de Allende.

“Terrific!! Congratulations on a job well done.  Undoubtedly the production was the best theater I have ever seen in San Miguel...You were all extraordinary! I am only disappointed that it showed only on 9/11 so I can't get everyone I know to go see it.”
Murray Friedman, San Miguel de Allende.

“That was a great show. A lot of power.  God, it made me want to yell at the world and the way things are not (I'm sure) supposed to be. It was very, very good.  It got to the crowd as well as us.  You should have heard the comments.  Everybody was thinking and that's a success I think.  Made me think of the Nam days. I wonder if people will ever get that pissed again.”
Mike Kleimo, San Miguel de Allende.

"I truly loved your piece....it had power, swift flow, suspense, information from so many sides and was never pedantic. Congratulations!"
Jane Evans, San Miguel de Allende.

“I thought it was one of the most profound anti-war statements I have ever seen. The production was excellent and the format was gripping. I think your production should be shown in every city in the States, particularly Washington, DC. I hope we will see more from you and that you will put this one on again when the snowbirds are here.”
Peggy Bell, San Miguel de Allende.

“I heard an audience member say he had tears in his eyes in the mother/son scene, and all the comments I heard going out were so moving. A friend thinks it should show in every town in the States. Terrific job!"
Naomi Zerriffi, San Miguel de Allende.
